Arvie Lowe, Jr

Born on February 3rd 19(U’ll never guess), Arvie Lowe, Jr was destined to make a stake in the world of entertainment. Even throughout his upbringing, Arvie always felt complete yet split at the same time. Residing off of a street that literally divides the good and bad of Los Angeles straight down the middle, La Cienega blvd. Culver city being the good, Los Angeles being the….not so good! Originally, Arvie wanted to become a chemist, but the bug of Hip-Hop dance caught his eye and it was what came naturally to him; that and reciting scenes from his favorite television shows. At 9yrs old, Regina Williams (whom owned L.A.’s hottest dance studio Regina’s School of performing arts) took an interest in Lowe after seeing him dance at a birthday party. Soon after which, he acquired an agent and was working the next week!

While in dance school, Arvie was given the opportunity to tour the world with REEBOK International for 4 months, which landed him and his mother in France, Germany, Paris, and places Lowe never thought he would get a chance to visit. Lowe felt great onstage and was a natural when it came to performing. His big break came when he landed a principal role as “BOOTS” in the Disney movie musical “NEWSIES”.

By 13, he was off and running, booking memorable roles on commercials for NIKE and REEBOK. Lowe then booked a re-occurring role on the show “THEA” but in the middle of the season, Maxine Lowe, his mother had passed away, leaving him a bit confused about his position in life. He decided that he would make his mother proud by continuing what brought her the most joy, seeing him succeed at his dreams of becoming a great entertainer.
He continued his journey now with a new purpose.

Lowe gave great performances on shows such as SISTER, SISTER, Smart guy, City Guys, The Wayans Brothers and was quickly becoming the guy writers could count on to bring catch phrases to life. Lowe also had a love of writing. Conferring with mentors, Topper and Alice Carrew (creators of MARTIN), he started writing treatments and graduated to whole scripts soon after. He even collaborated and pitched scripts with Jason Weaver to De’Passe Entertainment at 17. All while Lowe was acting, he was background dancing for major artists, such as IMMATURE, BROWNSTONE, and MC Lyte. After appearing on the show MOESHA, Lowe took on another venture along with Terence Washington, music.
He had doubts about actually singing but Terence knew that the pairing could a match made in heaven.

Through times of recording they’re R&B project, Lowe and Washington felt pigeon holed by it so they decided to evolve the project into funk/rock. Currently, Lowe plays the zany teacher Mr. Dig on Disney channel’s hit TV show “LIZZIE McGuire”, all while landing hot commercial stints from Mountain Dew, Coca Cola, Sprite, and countless others. Lowe and Washington also wrote several scripts and pitched the ideas throughout the industry.
Everything evolves, the music (Rayzing Sons) is now melodic rock, and Lowe is more concentrated on website design, music production, and writing science fiction and comedy, yet his love for the art of acting is nowhere near gone. The politics of the business has left his breed out to dry; he is more into INDIE films/projects such as the last one he was featured in called “SHOT”.
Lowe is just getting started and his career, although beginning at a young age, is age-less.
